The Bourbon Trail Enclave is an exclusive VIP event for top-level decision-makers, designed to create a unique experience, generate interest in SIM membership, and raise funds for STEM education and other initiatives. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the SIM Foundation amplifies philanthropy nationwide, focusing on STEM education while empowering local SIM chapters to support community causes.

Day 1 (Arrival) - Thursday, March 19, 2026

  • After you settle in, join us in the SIM Foundation VIP Bourbon Suite at 21c Museum Hotel (700 W. Main St., Louisville, KY).  Catch up with old friends and meet new ones as we sample some of the finest bourbons.

Day 2 (Tour) – Friday, March 20, 2026

  • 8:00am - Famous Bloody Mary Bar & Brunch at Against the Grain Brewery (1800 Northwestern Pkwy, Louisville, KY)
  • 10:00am - Executive Session/guest speaker
  • 12:00pm – Luncheon, TBD
  • 1:30pm – Rabbit Hole Distillery Tour
  • 3:30pm – Peerless Distiller Tour
  • 5:30pm – Freshen up at your hotel before dinner
  • 6:30pm – Cocktails & Dinner at the River House Restaurant and Raw Bar
  • 9:00pm – SIM Foundation VIP Bourbon Suite Night Cap

Day 3 (Tour) – Saturday, March 21, 2026

  • 8:00am – Board the VIP Transportation, breakfast box
  • 10:00am – Bardstown Distillery Tour
  • 11:30am – Castle & Key Distillery Tour
  • 1:00pm – Luncheon TBD
  • 2:30pm – Makers Mark Distiller Tour
  • 4:00pm – Bulleit Distiller Tour
  • 6:30pm – Freshen up at your hotel before dinner
  • 7:00pm – Cocktails & Dinner at Proof on Main
