SIM Central Florida--we have the privilege to spend Friday February 18th visiting NASCAR and receiving a back-stage tour of the Technology Center and a Garage Tour.  This is an exclusive invitation for current SIM members and, unfortunately, will need to be limited to 15 participants.

The selected participants will be chosen based on a "Program Chair Algorithm", very similar to Google's search algorithm but hopefully less mysterious and involving necessarily subjective factors such as duration of membership, level of active involvement, attendance, and practitioner status.

Details are below and your RSVP is requested immediately so we are able to submit our final list by Monday the 31st.   We will need the following information for your RSVP for the Cold Pass credential:
Full Name
Driver's License #
State License was issued by

Here are the details for the event:
Schedule for Friday, February, 18th:
9AM – Meet at NASCAR  Headquarters and pickup Cold Pass Credentials
10AM – Cup Garage Tour with NASCAR Racing Operations
11:15AM – Lunch at Olive Garden with NASCAR/NMG CITO, Andy Schwalb (each attendee pays for his/her lunch)
1PM (tentative time scheduled, will be finalized this Tuesday) – Pace Car Rides (time, weather, and space permitting)
2PM – TV Compound/NASCAR Mobile Technology Center Tour with IT Managing Director, Steve Worling
4:30PM – Drivers/Crew Chiefs Meeting 8PM – NASCAR Camping World Truck Race (tickets are available and we can ask for group rates)

On the tour date, everyone who has a confirmed RSVP will be required to bring their license--it will be needed to register for the Cold Pass credential and kept with the credential at all times in case security requests identification. Dress attire for the garage tour is as follows: Shirts and pants; dresses; and/or skirts and blouses are required.  Shoes are required.  The following are now permitted and are in compliance of the dress code: shorts, short sleeve or sleeve-less shirts and blouses, and open-toed shoes.

Please RSVP to Timmy Rupeiks at and include the information requested above.
