The SIM Foundation is targeting several activities in 2020 to continue SIM’s outreach mission and support of SIM Chapters. The Foundation Board will be focusing on activities to develop partnerships, generate funds, and drive more Chapter recognition at the local and national levels. Through these efforts, the Foundation Board believes we can have a greater impact on our SIM communities.
The following activities are targeted for 2020
- Foundation use as a 501(c)(3) Pass-through for SIM Chapters – Ongoing
- Foundation Website Creation – First Quarter
- Foundation Partnerships with FIRST – First Quarter
- SIM National Community Giveback Event – Third Quarter
- Foundation Fundraising
- Water Bottle Fundraising Drive – Beginning of the Second Quarter
- VIP Conference Reception – Fourth Quarter
- Casino Night at SIM Connect Live {Tentative} – Fourth Quarter
