Facilitators*


Christine Atkins has the perspective that comes from 15 years as a CIO, capping a 40-year career in technology management. She has served as CIO with four corporations ranging from small to large to global and found the fundamentals of success to be largely the same across the various industries. She has advised Google, Oracle and HP. Chris retired from Royal Ahold in 2013 and is a principal at Atkins & Cameron LLC, specializing in IT strategy. She serves on the boards for Forsythe Technology and the SIM Chicago Chapter and is a 1995 Northeast RLF graduate.
 

  

 

Cliff Higbee is the Director of the Member and Statistical Records Division for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He received his B.A. in Speech Communications from the University of Utah. He is a past Intermountain Chapter president, has served on the SIM Executive Board and chaired the 1994 Annual Interchange Conference. Cliff has been a guest lecturer at various colleges and universities. He held an elected position on the Salt Lake City School Board and serves on the Advisory Board for The Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University.

 

 

 

Karen Calvert recently retired from Mary Kay where she was VP within the Information Services and Technology division. In addition to her IT responsibilities, Karen also co-led Mary Kay’s Culture Committee, was a Wellness Ambassador for the company’s Wellness Program and a Leadership Mentor in their Mentee-Mentor program. Karen is currently continuing her passion for coaching / mentoring business leaders and volunteering for several non-profit organizations.

Program Costs

$8,850*
All SIM members are eligible for a SIM member discount of $600.  Must be logged into this website for the discount to be recognized.  In addition, register on or before, Sunday, December 31, 2017 to qualify for an early registration discount of $500.  

The RLF fee includes:  
  • Speakers, presentations, materials and activities during six 2-day sessions of the nine-month program.
  • Inclusion in a post-program learning event for all 2018 RLF grads.
  • All books and media used throughout the program.
  • All breakfasts, lunches and refreshments.
  • Individual SIM national membership for each graduate during 2019.
*Travel and hotel accommodations are not included in this fee.
