2011 Meeting Schedule
The program will consist of a panel of influential CIO’s who have recently landed in new positions. Each will share their experiences and what they have done in the critical first 30-60-90 days to ensure a "successful landing.”
As a CIO and senior leader, you are in the pivotal position not only to survive, but to thrive in this rapidly changing, globally competitive, increasingly regulated business environment. If you can leverage the chaos going on, you can re-invent the paradigm from "delivering” IT services to "creating” business value in your enterprise.
Speaker: James Proctor, CEO and founder of The Inteq Group, Inc.
He is the author of Mastering Business Chaos – 12 Secrets to Being Indispensable and Becoming a Playmaker. James draws on over 30 years of experience working with IT and business professionals across the spectrum of business and industry, and throughout the world. As James says –"Get on board. Get out in front, or get left behind!”
"Bill’s passion for teaching and shooting through examples and illustrations are both effective and entertaining. He has mastered the art of shooting free-throws and the techniques of an accomplished motivational speaker and combined it into one unique package."
--According to former Head Basketball Coach of the NBA Dallas Mavericks, Jim Cleamons, and Owner of 8 NBA Championship Rings

Innovation is an engine that powers organizations for future relevance and prosperity. It is fueled by the conflicts, constraints, and trade-offs that exist in the business environment. Innovations can be tangible/physical (e.g., a new supply chain application) or intangible/logical (e.g., a new approach to managing customer service), and often are a combination of both.
This roundtable will begin with a presentation by Charlie Bess about what is driving organizations to be innovative today and ways to convert that potential into business value; followed by a facilitated roundtable discussion in which attendees can share their experiences, lessons learned, and current concerns about innovation.
