"Digital Business Transformation - The Emerging Role for the IT Leader"

Digital Business is the new buzzword. While everyone is talking about it not everyone agrees exactly what it means. Beyond the literal definition of 1’s and 0’s it’s hard to separate real possibilities of digital transformation from the hype.

Yet there are huge changes afoot.  Technology is now enabling businesses to create value in a myriad of ways and faster than ever – from new products, to new ways of engaging customers, to opening entirely new markets.

The role of the CIO is about to undergo a major upgrade.  As IT professionals, we have been involved in digitization of our businesses our whole careers.  Since technology and information are at the very heart of Digital Business, the IT leader is well positioned to take a very strategic role in digital transformation – if we step up to the challenge.

In this talk, a team of management consultants from Virtual Information Executives (VIE) and a VP of IT will cut through the hype to present the key capabilities at the heart of Digital Business and what you can do to become the digital leader for your organization.
