Almost every organization is concerned about growth. Many are aggressively pursuing innovation strategies. Some are concerned about being disrupted—and they should be!

The term “disruption” is being applied to almost every significant event in organizations today. But what does it really mean and how does disruption relate to growth? Should companies seek to disrupt rather than being disrupted?

And what is the role of the IT executive--friend or foe of disruption?

In this session we will take a deep dive into the meaning of disruptive innovation, particularly as it relates to growth, and we will tie in lessons from the entrepreneurial start-up world.

Together we will explore how the IT executive can both manage the core business and

support opportunities for innovation and growth.
