It is a pleasure to invite you to SIM Women’s May webinar “Authentic Leadership” on Wednesday, May 25th at 3pm ET. Those who RSVP that they can attend will receive the webinar access information a day prior to the event.
At different times in our lives and careers, our internal voice can derail us whether it’s telling us to ‘go along to get along’, keep quiet, or to rationalize a behavior that just feels wrong to us. Sometimes it’s not even our own voices but those of our parents, bosses, or significant others. Humans have survived because we’ve been able to adapt, but those who flourish are those among us most comfortable in their own skin. We all need to take ownership for ourselves and find our moral courage to raise our hands, voice our thoughts, and simply be ourselves. Understanding there’s a difference between tact and diplomacy and inauthentic behavior, we each need to decide where to place our behavioral guardrails.
