Cory Eaves will provide a unique perspective on what Boards are looking for from CIO's.  General Atlantic is one of the leading Private Equity firms in the Tri-State region, and Cory will help explain from both an investor and board member perspective what CIO's need to do to ensure success.


ABOUT CORY EAVES

 
Cory A. Eaves leads General Atlantic's Resources Group, providing expertise and strategic counsel to GA's investment teams. He brings to this role more than 25 years of operational experience, including previously serving as Chief Technology Officer of SSA Global, one of the world's largest enterprise software providers and a prior GA portfolio company. He is responsible for value creation across GA’s portfolio companies and serves on the firm's Portfolio Committee. Cory currently serves on the boards of directors at CitiusTech and eviCore and serves as a board observer for Aperture Group.

 

Cory joined GA in 2009 from Misys plc, a global provider of software and services to the healthcare and financial services industries, where he was Executive Vice President, Chief Technology Officer and Chief Information Officer. He also served on the board of directors of Allscripts.

 

Cory advises a number of philanthropic organizations on strategy and technology. He serves on the Executive Committee of the board of directors of The Marfan Foundation.  He also chairs the External Affairs Committee of the board of directors of NetHope, a technology collaboration of 40 of the world's largest humanitarian organizations.

 

Cory earned his B.S.E.E. at the University of Iowa and his M.B.A., cum laude, at Babson College, and he completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
