Regional Leadership Forum

SIM's Regional Leadership Forum (RLF) is an intensive, ten-month leadership development program focused on creating authentic leaders. Since 1992 over 3000 graduates and more than 300 sponsors have found RLF the key to developing leadership effectiveness.

Leadership Development: Now More Than Ever

We live in a world of ever accelerating change. Economic conditions have created unprecedented challenges...a challenge unique for many of us in our lifetime. Competition is fierce and unrelenting.   Employees and their families live under a cloud of great uncertainty, creating stress and fear in the workplace. And of course, all are being asked to do more with less.

There has never been a time when the value of strong leaders is greater. When a leader must know his or her morals and values and instinctively do the right things…..day in and day out. Companies seek individuals who thrive on change, understand their personal leadership strengths and opportunities and are willing to look at continuous learning as one of the best tools for increasing their leadership effectiveness and addressing corporate needs.

It is here that SIM’s Regional Leadership Forum (RLF) provides a time-tested and successful process to aid organizations in building that strong leadership team. The key word here is process. RLF is not just another series of classroom lectures. It is an interactive, engaging and motivating series of activities that provides the individual with a set of building blocks and knowledge necessary to lift them to the top of the profession. And in that process, individuals discover their own “authentic leadership style”. One that allows them to not only create effective strategic vision and tactical plans, but to do so in a work atmosphere that engenders trust, inspiration and a recognized sense of accomplishment for their colleagues.

Those who have experienced the Regional Leadership Forum refer to it as an energizing and life-changing experience. Those who sponsor attendees at RLF recognize that individuals who complete the process have been given the tools to assume greater responsibility and do so with confidence and a strong understanding of self.
