SIM-Houston
The purpose of SIM-Houston is to foster an exchange and discussion of ideas, practices, and new developments in the use of information technology and to promote fellowship and networking among IT professionals. SIM-Houston membership is open to Senior IT practitioners, academicians and select vendors.
- Senior IT Practitioners – Senior IT leaders (such as CIO, CTO, VP, and Director) actively engaged in providing IT services within their company or organization (not for hire).
- Academicians – non-adjunct college professors
- Vendors - Consultants, recruiters and suppliers – Vendor membership is limited to 15% or less of total membership. Vendor members agree to abide with the Houston Solicitation Policy
SIM-Houston meets 9 times per year (monthly January to May and September to December) in a "no-sales” environment to hear presentations by top practitioners, industry leaders and recognized experts in information technology.
