Welcome to the Capital Area Chapter!
The Capital Area Chapter (DC/MD/VA) of The Society for Information Management is a "by-invitation" federation of senior information managers experienced in both information systems and general management. These professionals represent a range of organizations, which include general business, Federal and State Governments and academic institutions. The CAC SIM is a chartered chapter and is affiliated with SIM International.
The Chapter meets eight times per year alternating between Maryland and Virginia locations. Meetings are generally the second Tuesday of the month in January, February, March, April, May, September, October, and November. The August meeting is generally our planning meeting for the next years events.
