Welcome to the Alabama Chapter!

Welcome to the Alabama Chapter of the Society for Information Management (SIM), serving the state of Alabama. SIM Alabama provides its members access to IT perspectives through relevant-to-your-situation speakers and roundtable discussions.

SIM membership has many benefits including technical resources, educational meetings, as well as other functions. Also, some members attend meetings just because of the elite network of peer resources, through our membership of top corporate representation.

SIM Alabama provides scholarship awards with funds generated by its annual golf tournament. The chapter annually donates scholarship funds to Troy University, University of Alabama at Birmingham, University of Alabama and Auburn University to be awarded to students majoring in Information Systems.
