Speaker: Deepak Munjal
Technologist, HP Networking, Hewlett-Packard Company

Deepak Munjal (CCIE #4376) has 25 years of networking industry experience and a B.S. degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.He started his career at Hewlett-Packard as an IT Engineer where he was responsible for the build-out of HP’s first Intranet as well as setting internal standards for LAN/WAN, Server, and Storage.  After eight years at HP, he joined Cisco Systems as a Systems Engineer where he sold back to HP and other large global accounts.  During his 13 years at Cisco, he held various roles including Systems Engineering Management and Data Center Marketing where he was responsible for the launch of the Nexus family of products.  He also served as the external spokesperson for the press and analyst community for Cisco’s data center business.His current role is the Technologist for the HP Networking business in the Americas and is focused on data center networking and software defined networks (SDN).
