Seminar:Staying Relevant on Social Media: Selling Your Company Brand in the Digital Age

Speaker: Orly Zeewy

We are living in the Digital Revolution, also known as the Third Industrial Revolution. Digital advances provide information 24/7, and as a result we are overwhelmed by information with more than 12,000 messages/day. It's a noisy world! How do companies stand out?

Social media is often touted as the answer, but with more than 100 social media platforms, companies often worry about which ones they should be on. The reality is that companies typically need to focus their time and energy only on the top 3: Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. During this seminar, Orly Zeewy will review the noisy digital landscape that every company must navigate and offer advice on how to get the most out of the top 3 social media sites. Using case studies, Orly will take participants through successful online and digital user experiences and provide tips on how to create those experiences for their companies.

Dinner: The Value of Conflict

Speaker: Michelle Tillis Lederman

For many, the thought of conflict is an uncomfortable and unwelcome experience, and one that is best avoided. The truth is poorly handled conflicts can lead to break downs in communication, reduced morale, and higher turnover. However, when managed well, conflict has the potential to bring value to the organization and the team.

Conflict is a costly and often mishandled occurence in the workplace. Successful conflict resolution occurs by listening to and providing opportunities to meet each side's needs, and adequately addressing their interests so that they are each satisfied with the outcome.

In this interactive talk, Michelle Tillis Lederman, author of, The 11 Laws of Likability will explain the different conflict modes, how to choose the appropriate strategy for your situation, and how relationships impact your ability to promote the positive outcomes and minimize the negative outcomes of conflict.
