Seminar:  "Relationships Matter" presented by Ed Wallace, President, Chief Relationship Officer, The Relationship Capital Group

Dinner:  "Inside Stories of a Fascinating Career" presented by Pat Ciarrochi, Emmy Award winning CBS News co-anchor.  

Pat Ciarrochi, one of Philadelphia's longest CBS News Anchor of 33 years, who survived multiple management changes, will share inside stories and lessons learned during her long and successful career.  She will discuss:

How she survived 18 general managers and 11 news directors, including how she navigated all the various transitions, while staying true to herself.Personal and professional challenges and how she overcame them Decisions that she had to makeHow the power of her voice influenced life around her and in PhiladelphiaStories about powerful experiences she had along the wayHow her desire to find the redeeming, the inspiration, and the humanity in what surrounds us effected her workWhat value system served her well throughout her career This session will provide us with a rich and rare opportunity to learn from one of Philadelphia's most popular TV news personalities.  Her lessons learned transcend all careers.


About our Speakers:


Ed Wallace, Chief Relationship Officer of The Relational Capital Group, spent 20 years with Vertex as their Vice President of Business Development. During this time, the company grew from $1 million to over $120 million. He founded The Relational Capital Group so he could bring his relationship-building principles and the Relational Ladder® process to corporations and their professionals. He now consults with and speaks for corporations and associations across the globe with a client list that is a Who's Who of Fortune 500 companies.

Ed Wallace has published three books on relational capital -Fares to Friends, Creating Relational Capital and in his most recent, Business Relationships That Last (Greenleaf, 2010), The Relationship Engine (AMACOM, 2016). Ed has become critically acclaimed as the foremost authority on business relationships as he again illustrates his relationship-building principles through real-life stories, examples, and insights gathered from his experiences - demonstrating to his readers why establishing and advancing outstanding business relationships is the true "secret to success."

Mr. Wallace is currently on the Executive Education faculty of Drexel's LeBow College of Business and Villanova University's Human Resources Master's program. He was a Teaching Fellow at Drexel, where he earned his MBA, has a B.S. in Accounting (cum laude) from Villanova University, and a CPA designation in the State of Pennsylvania. He participates on various corporate and non-profit boards. Ed resides in the Philadelphia area with his wife Laurie and their two sons.
Emmy Award-winning Pat Ciarrocchiserved as co-anchor of Eyewitness News on CBS Channel 3 for over 20 years.  She came home to Philadelphia from WHAG-TV in Hagerstown, Maryland, where she had been an anchor/reporter for three years.  She began her career in broadcasting in 1974 as commercial and public affairs director for WAMS Radio in Wilmington, where she was a news reporter at the number-one rated  Delaware radio station.
Prior experience includes reporting the morning news in Philadelphia as the station's early morning anchor, growing that program from a half-hour newscast to a two-hour staple.  Throughout her career in Philadelphia, Ms. Ciarrocchi has excelled in a variety of assignments at
Channel 3, from Evening Magazine which she co-hosted with Ray Murray in 1991  and 1992, to serving as the station's medical reporter for five years.  Among those special assignments was her memorable coverage from Rome of St. Katherine Drexel's canonization in 2000.
Ms.Ciarocchi's news anchoring and reporting earned her numerous industry honors.  In addition to the Philadelphia Emmy Award, Ms. Ciarrocchi won the prestigious Gabriel Award from the National Catholic Association of Broadcasters, a CEBA Award recognizing communications excellence to Black audiences and a Sarah Award from Women in Communications locally. In 2000 she was inducted into the Philadelphia Broadcast Pioneers Hall of Fame in recognition of her accomplishments in the television industry.
Ms Ciarrocchi's dedication to her community has equaled that to her career.  She has donated her time to the Easter Seal Society, the Race for the Cure and the Women's Domestic Abuse Project among other community efforts.  Her Board positions include: the Philadelphia affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, the Easter Seals Board, and the National Board of the Freedoms Foundation of Valley Forge.  In 1989, she founded The Pat Ciarrocchi Golf Classic, which has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for local charities.
Ms. Ciarrocchi earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies from Rosemont College in 1974.  A native of Chester County, Ms. Ciarrocchi currently resides in Merion, PA with her husband, David A. Fineman, a real estate manager. She has two college-age stepsons.
