A Special Panel Event:

Enterprises are leveraging mobile to elevate engagement with their customers while gathering valuable data points and analytics to improve their services, products, marketing and/or loyalty programs. A panel of three CTOs representing leading innovators will provide their perspectives on driving customer and client engagement through mobile. Their firms represent leading innovators in the mobile space. The moderator, Tom Davenport, always leads a dynamic and lively conversation.

Moderator – Tom Davenport

Tom Davenport is a world-renowned thought leader and author, is the President’s Distinguished Professor of Information Technology and Management at Babson College, a Fellow of the MIT Center for Digital Business, and an independent senior advisor to Deloitte Analytics. An author and co-author of 15 books and more than 100 articles, he helps organizations to revitalize their management practices in areas such as analytics, information and knowledge management, process management, and enterprise systems. Henry Cipolla, CTO, Localytics

Bob Hammond, CTO, Millennial Media

Bob Hammond is the Chief Technology Officer at Millennial Media, coming from Jumptap, where he served in the same role. A 24-year industry veteran, Bob joined Jumptap from Vibrant Media, a NY-based online ad network, where he served as SVP of Technology. Prior to Vibrant Media, Hammond was VP of Engineering at Yahoo! following the company’s acquisition of Maven Networks, a video ad network where Hammond was SVP of Engineering for three years. Bob received a BS in Biology from the University of Connecticut and studied Computer Engineering at the University of New Hampshire.

Tom Middleton, CTO, Swirl

Swirl is an ad tech innovator that is powering the next generation of mobile advertising. Tom brings a unique background as a technology leader and developer of numerous award-winning products spanning consumer mobile apps, large-scale Internet advertising platforms and highly scalable enterprise information systems. Prior to conceiving the technology vision for Swirl, Tom was founder and CTO of Bitrino, a developer of popular consumer networking and discovery apps for the Apple iPhone and iPad. Previously, he oversaw the engineering team that designed and built the market-leading storage virtualization platform at Incipient. Earlier in his career, Tom was VP of Engineering and Chief Architect at Narrative Communications, one of the first cloud-based Internet services. Tom earned a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Virginia, where he was an Echol’s Scholar.
