Hello ladies,
SIM Women is a network inside the SIM association that promotes mentorship, communication and career development amongst the female members of SIM.  It is a pleasure to invite you to SIM Women’s July webinar on Wednesday, July 16th at 3pm ET. Those who RSVP to me they can attend will receive the webinar access information a day prior to the event.
Our July webinar will be "Follow the Leader: The Balance of Power and Progress" facilitated by Ann Schatz, a Sports Broadcaster & Motivational Speaker based in Portland. At the heart of every great leader is an openness to learn and to be led. At the heart of every success story in team athletics is a dynamic coach who embraces those same vital principles. That coach, that leader, asks questions, invites feedback, and encourages greatness. Join Ann in this fast paced session that reveals the genius behind inspired action and personal triumphs. Who knew board rooms and locker rooms had so much in common?
Ann is widely known and regarded as an accomplished sports broadcaster (the 1st female sports broadcaster in Oregon!), speaker and entrepreneur. With a sports broadcasting career spanning over three decades, Ann’s imprint on national and international broadcasting is impressive. Ann has provided live coverage for top competitions and venues across the globe including the NBA Championships, the Summer and Winter Olympic Games, the Boston Marathon, NCAA Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournaments and the US Women’s Open Golf Championship.
Throughout her broadcasting career Ann has had access to the world’s top athletes, coaches and sport companies; including Lance Armstrong, Tiger Woods, Michael Jordan, Mia Hamm, Nike and adidas. Weaving her personal experiences with this elite group of individuals along with real life techniques and tools, Ann inspires her audiences to challenge the status quo and develop a plan to achieve breakthrough personal and professional results.
"Women helping Women" is a long-standing concept. To all our members, as always, I hope you continue to participate in and personally benefit from SIM Women. We can't do it without you!
Thank you,
Kristen Lamoreaux
