Atlanta June 17th Chapter Meeting

PANEL: What's Wrong With the Enterprise IT Marketplace?

Mark Hall
Founder & CEO
xPeerient, Inc.

Brian Shield

Barb Kunkel
Troutman Sanderes LLP
Mark Ryan

Mr. Hall will lead a panel of CIOs through a discussion about the Enterprise IT marketplace. High technology and services companies spend $25 billion a year trying to "reach the influence" the IT buyer - with the bulk of their energies directed right at the CIO. CIOs don'd necessarily welcome many of the tactics that tech marketers use - unsolicited calls and emails - and actively resist their advances. Consequently, a huge amount of time and energy is wasted on both sides in an industry-wide game of Cat-and-Mouse or Whack-a-Mole, depending upon your perspective.

Is there a better way? Other B2B industries are benefiting from electronic marketplaces. Is our industry ready for it own? This panel will provide a candid view into current and emerging paradigms for the Enterprise IT marketplace.
