SIM Women is a network inside the SIM association that promotes mentorship, communication and career development amongst the female members of SIM.

It is a pleasure to invite you to SIM Women’s May webinar presented by Heather Hansen on Wednesday, May 22nd at 3pm ET. Those who RSVP that they can attend (click the registration button above) will receive the webinar access information a day prior to the event.

"Be An Elegant Warrior--Use Your Voice (and others!) to Win Life's Trials"

Twenty years as a trial lawyer have taught Heather Hansen how to use her voice to win. You can use the tools a lawyer uses to maximize the power of your voice as well.  In this webinar, you will learn to use your voice in ways that will lead to victory. No other person has the same tone of voice as you, it is as individual as your fingerprint. If you don't use your voice to ask questions, state your case and handle objections, those words will go unsaid. And it isn't enough to own your power and use your voice. You need to learn HOW to use it. We will talk about being aware of your own tone, and using your awareness of others' to succeed. Finally, we will talk about the role that tone of voice plays in the era of technology, and the influx of voice activated prompts. Attendees will walk away from the webinar with actionable tools to use their voices to their advantage.

Heather Hansen has spent her life focused on communication, and how to effectively harness it for success in numerous fields. With over twenty-five years of experience as a medical malpractice trial attorney,  Heather has been consistently named one of the top 50 female lawyers in Pennsylvania and has been an anchor on the popular legal trial streaming site, . Heather works with her clients to recognize their own, individual communication style and to use it to become better leaders, team members, and partners. As a trained mediator, she helps mediate disputes and conflicts between individuals, and she has spoken in Kuwait, Ireland, Mexico and throughout the United States. As an esteemed voice in her field, she has appeared on CNN, CBS, MSNBC, and Fox News, and contributed to Global Grind, Thrive Global, and KevinMD. Heather has done pro bono work with the Support Center for Child Advocates.

In her forthcoming book, The Elegant Warrior: How to Win Life’s Trials Without Losing Yourself, Heather gathers lessons from the courtroom and shows readers how they can use their complaints, discoveries, questions and objections to find their own voices and win arguments, without losing themselves in the process.

"Women helping Women" is a long-standing concept. To all our members, as always, I hope you continue to participate in and personally benefit from SIM Women. We can't do it without you!
