SIM’ Giveback Campaign 2020- November 2-8
SIM’s National Giveback Week is planned for November 2 – 8!
Due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, there are so many of our local nonprofits in need of SIM’s support. This will be a perfect time to continue SIM’s track record of giving! And to wrap up the week, we are in the planning stages of hosting a virtual fundraising event – details are being finalized!
Chapters are encouraged to create a “giving activity” which will resonate with the chapter's membership. Some ideas of chapter activities include fundraising, volunteering for a local non-profit, mentoring/resume review for a local college, gathering donations (i.e. tech related), etc.
If you haven’t started thinking about how you can get involved, please do so now!
We are working on securing corporate sponsor(s) who could fund SIM’s Giveback Campaign including providing T-Shirts to volunteers and setting up scholarships. If you have a chapter sponsor who might be interested, please send the info to Cynthia McKenzie or Nanci Schimizzi or if you would be interested in assisting on the planning committee, please reach out to us as well.
