Alabama Membership Application

Corporate Membership
Candidates for Corporate Membership should be organizations that have a separate information system function located within the State of Alabama that is responsible for meeting the information needs of the firm’s top management. It is expected that the firm’s Chief Information Systems Officer will be an active participating member of the Alabama Chapter.

The Membership Application Process
As soon as it is received, your application will be forwarded to the Chapter’s Board of Directors. The Board will review all applications for membership within 30 days of receipt. All applications must be accompanied by a check or money order for the annual Chapter dues. The annual dues for UNRESTRICTED membership include one dinner for each company attendee and associated guests at each of the nine meetings. The annual dues for all other membership types include one dinner at each of the nine meetings.

Two active members of the Chapter must sponsor each application. The Chapter’s Board of Directors can assist in finding sponsors, or may waive the sponsorship requirement in special circumstances.

Benefits of Membership
SIM offers IT executives face-to-face meetings and networking with other key leaders to share knowledge about topics pertinent to the IT industry. SIM members have access to webinars, archived webcasts, online publications, and the best practices of other IT leaders.
