May 4, 2017 - The Drake Hotel - Chicago
Join us in this encouraging environment to network with peers and identify solutions to today’s business challenges. Our focus areas are: Deliberate Leadership, Career Development & Advancement, Mentorship, and STEM.
There are three tracks inside the conference:
Exemplify Leadership – Great leaders serve as visible examples for future generations to emulate. Being a leader is a goal that, once achieved, needs to be reinforced and continuously fostered.
Empower – For women working toward the C-Suite or other leadership status, these sessions focus on solidifying business acumen, confidence, and communication.
Educate – Although female leaders are gaining ground in some areas, thousands of women and girls are leaving STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) related careers in droves. Throughout this event we will share the impact a lack of STEM talent will have on all of us, in addition to sharing facts and key steps we can all take to make a difference via our Who’s Who of STEM session.
Agenda & Summit Council
The formal agenda for the Summit is driven by our Summit Council, which consists of SIM Women Champions and leaders from around the nation as well as other IT executives (CEOs, CIOs, CXOs). The Summit Council is an essential part of the Leadership Summit; their input ensures that the topics and participating sponsors of the event are tailored to meet the needs of the attendees.
Who Attends the Conference
While SIM Women is made up of CIOs and their direct reports, our programming has never been focused on technology, rather how to succeed as a leader in the technology field. The Leadership Forum is an executive-level event for CXOs, Senior Executives and Directors. These key decision makers from multiple industries across the country want to promote communication, mentorship, leadership and career development.
*To ensure and maintain the integrity of the forum, all registration requests must be pre-qualified.
