2014 SIM RLF Logo
Lisa Delin of Bristol-Myers Squibb achieved a huge goal in 2013 when she completed the New York Metro Regional Leadership Forum (RLF) program and graduated at SIMposiumin Boston. However, that paled in comparison to another milestone she attained during the year (right after the fifth RLF session): She became a mom for the first time.

APC Members Collaborate on Cyber Security

Following a riveting presentation on cyber security at the October APC meeting, 9 APC members pledged to form a coalition to work collaboratively, on a national level, to create a united front in mitigating the risk of cyber-attacks to organizations. They believe that the best way to combat ever-increasing cyber threats is through focusing on CIOs' combined knowledge, resources and efforts to directly target malicious cyber-activity.They also believe that cyber-attack risks could be mitigated through information sharing about cyber-attacks and encouraging legislation that would incentivize sharing by providing liability protection in exchange for meeting agreed-upon cyber-security standards.Through better information-sharing infrastructure and targeted legislation, organizations can be better prepared to prevent future attacks.
