SIM – Member in Transition (MIT) Program

One of the greatest values provided by SIM membership is the opportunity to meet with our peers and support each other’s continuing career growth. At no time is this support more important than when one is in the midst of a job transition.

In recognition of the contribution that each member makes to this organization, SIM International and Seattle SIM offer to waive membership dues. If you are a member in good standing during a calendar year and you lose your job,

SIM will move you to the Member in Transition membership category until you find a new position or up to the full next calendar year. No refund of dues previously paid can be made. SIM’s Member in Transition program provides a framework for building a knowledge base for job searches. There are many job hunting and career advice resources available to you from SIM. Below is a partial list.
