Mike serves as Director of Application Design and Development for Cox Enterprises, Inc. in Atlanta, GA.  In his role, Mike is responsible for the strategic direction of application development platforms for the corporate entity of a diverse group of companies in the media and communications industries.  Mike also has day to day responsibilities of staff resource planning, staff management, and staff development.  Mike began his career at Cox Enterprises as a staff data modeler in 1998 and transitioned into management in 2000 as the Manager of ERP Development.  In this role, Mike managed the staff responsible for development and maintenance of Cox’s HRMS and Financial ERP systems.  In 2006, Mike’s role was expanded to include management of all Cox Enterprises application development teams.  In 2008, Mike was named to Director of that team with the added responsibility of setting strategic direction for the group’s development platforms and systems integration.   Prior to Mike joining Cox Enterprises, he held a variety of consulting and staff positions specializing in data analysis, data modeling, and database administration.

Wesley Richard is the Vice President of Innovation and Operations for the Collegiate Licensing Company (CLC), a division of the global sports and entertainment company WME|IMG. CLC represents nearly 200 colleges and universities, conferences, and bowl games as well as the NCAA and the College Football Playoff. Wes is directly responsible for CLC’s technology infrastructure and solutions, business operations, and the systems and administrative processes to support more than 2,000 licensees.  Under Wes’s leadership, CLC has implemented numerous process efficiencies and launched many industry-first, award-winning system innovations that have helped our clients change the way they manage their brands. 

 

Prior to his current role, Wes led the global applications IT group for IMG in which he was responsible for business applications strategy, planning, and implementation across all of IMG’s business units spanning 30 countries and nearly 3,000 employees.  Wes has also held roles as the CEO of an IBM premier partner specializing in eCommerce strategy and implementation, and a consultant to multiple Fortune 1,000 companies on strategy and solution architecture. 

 

Wes is a graduate of Tulane University School of Engineering and is a board member of Atlanta’s Society of Information Management (SIM).  He was named as a Premier 100 Technology Leader by ComputerWorld and won the ATP leadership award in 2016.

Dan has served as Chief Information Officer and Technology Officer for 22 years, 13 of those years have been spent in healthcare and biotech. The other 9 in manufacturing, technology and hospitality companies. Dan has led the integration of technology and related business and operational processes for 42 acquisitions, divestitures, and mergers and evaluated another 85.  Dan designed, implemented, and envisioned the network and system process workflow for the first FDA Approved DNA based sequencing system as Chief Information Officer of Bayer Visible Genetics. His pharmacogenomic systems supported drug discovery and research activities in the areas of HIV, HCV, HBV, and multiple areas of cancer.  Dan has designed and program managed the implementation of system infrastructures for over 600 locations worldwide including mobile technology, fleet management, and web based linen management that can be found in over 200 hospitals across the US.  Dan is an active blogger, thought leader, speaker and is active in several community groups.  Dan is also a Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Global Management Accountant.

Mark manages The Select Group’s national relationships with Fortune 500 companies in North America to fulfill contingent labor needs. He oversees the business development activities for these accounts in addition to the management of TSG’s Onshore Recruiting Center of Excellence which is located in Raleigh, NC. Mark has been in the technical staffing business since 1996, beginning his career by placing rocket scientists (really!) for NASA and key defense contractors. He transitioned into the IT staffing industry and launched branch operations for companies in Huntsville, AL, Austin, TX, and Atlanta, GA. Mark is an active member of the Society for Information Management (SIM) where he serves as the Membership Chair and the Golf Chair. He is also an active participant in Sourcing Interests Group (SIG). He graduated from the University of Alabama in Huntsville with a degree in marketing. Mark lives in Alpharetta, GA with his wife, Keersten, and their two children, Hailey and Blake.

Cheryl Briscoe’s career spans 36 years of IT experience starting at Delta Air Lines as a Software Developer progressing to Middleware QA and Development Manager.  For 10 years, she worked for Ceridian and Fidelity Information Services ending as a Senior Manager of IT Development for payroll and BI products.  Additionally, she is a certified Scrum Master and Leadership Development Instructor.  She understands the urgency and requirements for IT talent competency and excellence and is currently working for G-Squared Group as their Brand Ambassador and Account Manager helping the company develop business relationships across Atlanta’s IT community.
