In an age where the industry disruption cycle has shrunk from 10 years to less than three, today’s top CIOs are elevating their game by developing new IT strategies and innovative cultures. To achieve this, they are building a world class IT Talent Brand and an IT workforce consisting of strategic partners and Innovative AnticipatorsTM that drive competitive advantage.

O&A is presenting the Leadership 2020 Webinar series featuring top thought leaders, authors, and CIO practitioners who are “Changing the Conversation about IT Strategy, Culture & Talent.”

Digital Business - Realizing Opportunities by Evolving Technology Culture

Jeff Stovall joins us to discuss "Digital Business" a hot topic in both IT and business circles. Stovall joined the City of Charlotte as its first Chief Information Officer in 2008, and is responsible for leading the City's Innovation and Technology department. He will share insight on what in local government they refer to as Digital Cities.

Are you ready to deliver on it as a CIO? Gartner defines “Digital Business” as “the creation of new business designs by blurring the physical and digital world”, but that blurring can make the waters of business and IT strategy even more murky than they already are.

In this talk, we’ll discuss how the culture of an organization impacts the expectations for Digital Business and the strategies IT organizations adopt to fulfill expectations. Peter Drucker may have said that “culture eats strategy for breakfast”, but developments in both culture and strategy are needed to achieve Digital Business aspirations.

And get ready to unleash the power of IT by developing the human side of technology and changing the conversation about IT strategy, culture and talent.
