Please join us for the next SIM Women event, taking place on Thursday, September 24, 2015 from 5:00-7:00pm. This meeting features Kathy Lane, Independent Director, EarthLink Audit, Leadership and Compensation and the former CIO at Gillette, National Grid and TJX. Her presentation will address The Importance of Situational Leadership Skills. This is your opportunity to hear a world-class CIO speak about the challenges she has had over her career and how she handled them. Please forward this along to your direct reports and female colleagues - men are encouraged to attend as well!
Networking starts at 5pm and the speaker will start at 6pm. The meeting will end at 7pm. *Please note that there will be wine, beer, water and soda (entrance fee buys two drink tickets), crackers and cheese and crudite.

Kathy Lane, Independent Director, EarthLink Audit, Leadership and Compensation and former CIO at several well-known companies in the Boston area including Gillette, National Grid and TJX, until her recent retirement.

During this meeting we will be treated to a discussion on lessons learned throughout the long and successful career of Kathy Lane. Kathy will talk about how she was able to adapt her management style to accommodate each situation within the environment of each company she led, while still doing what she knew to be the best for the company for which she was responsible. Her discussion will be interwoven with personal anecdotes of her experience in some of these situations.
The fee is for $25/members and $35/non-members to SIM Boston.
