Hello ladies,

As you are aware, SIM Women is a network inside the SIM association that promotes mentorship, communication and career development amongst the female members of SIM.  It is a pleasure to invite you to SIM Women’s May webinar on Wednesday, May 27th at 3pm ET. Those who RSVP to me that they can attend will receive the webinar access information a day prior to the event.

Our May webinar will be “Mentors, Coaches & Allies: How to Get What You're Really After” facilitated by Anne Pauker Kreitzberg, long-time SIM supporter and Principal and Co-Founder of The Center for Agile Thinking and Cognetics Interactive.

We've all been told that having a mentor, coach and allies are the way to career success. And that's true. But it isn't as simple to find, nurture and build mutually rewarding relationships. In this webinar, we'll go behind the scenes to raise some of the fears mentors have, how to use peer coaches as mentors and payback: the importance of forming allies - and the unintended consequences to avoid.

Key take-ways:

  • Mentorship: What it takes to be a good mentor and a good mentee
  • The top five fears that cause potential mentors to avoid taking it on
  • Peer coaches: the new breed of mentorship
  • Allies: Mentorship is a two-way street
  • Potential Pitfalls and how to avoid them - or make the most of a bad situation

Anne Pauker Kreitzberg works with corporate leaders to build effective strategies, organizations and teams. A thought leader in emerging workplace issues, Anne has been recognized over the span of more than thirty years for her ground-breaking work in workplace flexibility, diversity, mentorship and mobility programs, collaboration and creating a Web 2.0-friendly culture. She focuses on creating frameworks, tools and techniques to help organizations and individuals be more effective as they face 21st century challenges: rapid pace of change, complexity, competition, globalization, technology, tough economic conditions and concerns about energy and the environment.  This is sure to be a dynamic and highly informative webinar!!! RSVP via the link above!
