As you are aware, SIM Women is a network inside the SIM association that promotes mentorship, communication and career development amongst the female members of SIM. It is a pleasure to invite you to SIM Women’s April webinar on Wednesday, April 29th at 3pm ET. Those who RSVP to me that they can attend will receive the webinar access information a day prior to the event.
Our April webinar is titled "Leadership Spirit: A Personal & Professional Journey" and will be facilitated by Trisha Rozas, SIM Women member and CIO title holder multiple times over. With insights from her past, Trisha will share stories on her path to becoming a CIO. She eagerly sought opportunities of increasing responsibility and learned a lot by trial and error. Along her journey, she formulated a number of “how to's” for leadership success including growing confidence from doing things you don't like to do. Please join the webinar to hear Trisha speak about her life and professional success and the valuable skills you could implement in your own career!
Trisha was most recently with The Navigators Group, Inc as their Chief Information Officer (CIO), providing leadership, planning and management for all areas of information technology strategy, development and implementation. The Navigators Group, Inc. is an international commercial property & casualty specialty insurance holding company with insurance company operations, underwriting management companies and operations at Lloyd’s of London.
Trisha was previously part of Goldman Sachs where she served as VP in Technology Organization, directing a team of senior project managers in the Strategic Divisional Projects and Architecture Group in providing internal strategic consulting services and leadership of complex, enterprise-wide technology initiatives for one of the world’s leading multinational investment banks. In December 2008, she was named one of the “Women to Watch” in Business Insurance magazine’s Special Report while she was working as Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Guy Carpenter & Company, LLC. Trisha has also worked for CIT Group, where she served as Vice President of Consumer Technology Solutions and then later CIO for the company’s Commercial Financial division. While at CIT, Trisha was an active member of the company’s Women’s Leadership Council.
Prior to joining CIT Group, Trisha spent eight years at AIG, most recently as Vice President/Senior Information Officer. Trisha led application development across seven of AIG’s largest companies in the United States and the UK. Earlier in her career, Trisha held positions at Deloitte & Touche, Chemical Bank and two start-up companies.
