Robert Johnsons Topic:

Analytics roundtable discussion:

Analytics/”big data” is a hot topic today, however, it’s unclear what various organizations are doing with analytics or what benefits they are gaining.  In 2014, Robert Johnson/Atrion conducted a study on analytics usage, barriers to adoption and future plans by 70 mid-size organizations.  Robert will share the findings of this study and help facilitate a discussion on what participants are doing or planning for analytics as well as recommendations to others.

James Martin. Bio:

Jim Martin is Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Shepley Bulfinch, a 140 year old national architecture practice focused on institutional healthcare and education design with offices in Boston and Phoenix. In an environment of rapidly evolving demands and technology platforms, Jim draws on over 20 years of Information Technology experience to lead the development of strategies for technology tools that support and advance design, delivery, and collaboration. Jim is a Six Sigma Green Belt and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Roger Williams University, and is the membership co-chair for the Boston chapter of SIM.

James Martin. Topic:

Jim will be presenting the recent (successful) launch of a new social enabled intranet / knowledge capture tool @ a 140 year old Architecture firm. The presentation will include strategies for communication, engaging the firm, organization of the site, and creating a group of Community Champions from the business to help drive adoption of a social knowledge capture framework.
