Analytics is Dead

Why does Andrew Bourne, a leader in developing data solutions for large and small companies, say, "Analytics is Dead?"  After all,  Gartner predicts that Business Intelligence and Analytics will remain a focus for CIOs for the next several years to come.   Andrew will argue, analytics is dead because the data models that we build are too complex, business intelligence tools are too expensive and too difficult to implement.  Plus, organizations (like yours)  disagree on simple terminology.  In his talk, he will describe the predictive analytics movement and reveal his industry lessons learned over his 25 years of developing data solutions for large and small companies.  So, is Andrew right that Analytics is indeed dead?
