SCSIMpresents...
Cyber-Security – The New Mindset in Security Operations

October 3, 2013
Long Beach Marriott
3:00pm-8:00pm

Change or die. The IT world continues to change, there are new opportunities, such as cloud and mobility, and there are new threats including state sponsored information espionage. In order to survive all these elements require new ways to approach security.

Security programs are endlessly caught between a rock and a hard-place: global cyber threats, outsourced models, open ecosystems, etc. Yet, in the middle of the fire drills organizations are taking the time to think differently, disrupting the status quo.

New security models and approaches are the table stakes to operate effectively in this new world. Please join us as we hear distinguished thought leaders reveal what is working and what is not. We will also create a "show me, don’t tell me” atmosphere, where we’ll discuss big ideas in security analytics and active defense that create a step change in security operations. (You can then resume getting a good night’s rest.)
