Joe Galuszka
Principle, Fulcrum Associates

Joe specializes in IT Contract Optimization by negotiating additional hard-dollar cost savings and advantageous contract terms and conditions. Joe provides CIOs and Senior IT Executives as well as CFOs and experienced procurement / negotiation teams with the tactical information and strategic insight to effectively negotiate complex IT Enterprise software / hardware acquisitions, in addition to professional / implementation services agreements. Consulting engagements include licensing options, market competitive pricing, contract terms and conditions, SLAs and development and execution of the negotiation strategy. Our client is firmly in control of the process based on our understanding of the importance of maintaining a positive vendor relationship.

From 2005 – 2008, Joe served as Vice President, Gartner Consulting responsible for managing the IT Cost Optimization practice on the west coast. Previously Joe was a Partner at Jetstream Group, an IT negotiation Consulting Firm founded in 2002 with other Gartner Alumni from Gartner’s original SWAMI – Software Asset Management Special Interest Group.

Joe was a founding company officer at Scient from 1998 - 2001, an e-Business Consulting and Professional Services Firm. During this time Scient revenues grew to $300m and Hambrecht and Quist recognized Scient as one of the fastest growing firms in its field.

At Gartner from 1986 - 1998 as a Vice President of Sales, he managed operations throughout the Western U.S. Joe started his career at Hewlett-Packard.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The School of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Buffalo, State University of New York.


Tom Arbogast
Executive Program Director at Reliance Steel & Aluminum

Tom Arbogast is Executive Program Director for Reliance Steel and Aluminum. Tom’s prior position as the Managing Director & General Counsel for ClearEdge Professional Services and Legal Practice teams, provided him with extensive legal and business experience with vendor sales and contract processes. A published author on Contracts (Practices for Scaling Lean and Agile Development, Addison Wesley, 2010), Tom specializes in IT, M&A, Negotiation, Delivery Management and Operations. He previously served as VP at British Telecom and in executive and legal positions in telecommunications and technology. He has worked as a lawyer in private practice and argued a number of cases before the Supreme Court of Canada. He is a graduate of the University of Colorado and University of British Columbia Law School.


David Beaver
Vice President Procurement, Sourcing, and Travel for Corinthian Colleges Inc.

Dave is a seasoned executive with over 25 Years of Supply Chain Management experience. He is responsible for the procurement and sourcing activities across a spend base of approximately $500M. He brings a wealth of experience across a multi-disciplinary set of functions including procurement and sourcing, logistics management, industrial engineering, production management, management consulting and IT systems implementation and integration.

His experience includes the implementation and management of sophisticated e-procurement, e-invoicing and contracts management systems. His diverse background includes working in numerous industries, and assessing, designing and implementing sourcing and procurement organizations.

He holds a BSIT in Industrial Engineering from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale
