Perspectives on Leadership, Motivation, and Expectations

The sweeping generalizations that come with cohort stereotypes - GenXers frequently labeled as “cynical and disengaged” and Millennials dubbed the “entitlement generation” - can immediately put entire groups on edge and at odds; and could lead even the most well-intentioned leader astray. Yet much is said today regarding the perceived challenges and opportunities of the dynamic created as Millennials and iGen advance in a workforce frequently led by Boomers and GenXers.

As the Indianapolis tech community sees heightened talent competition which shows no signs of slowing, is there some wisdom to be gleaned from any of the generational characterizations when it comes to attracting, engaging, and retaining top talent? Joining us for this Forum is a panel representing various industries, experience levels, and backgrounds to provide their own diverse perspectives and insights. This Forum is designed to be a conversation between panel and audience on the relationship between multi-generational leaders and teams as we prepare for the workforce of the future.
