Summary:  The Myth of SDLC methodologies

Alot has been written, practiced and un-practiced about methodogies. Methodologies (or more commonly known as SDLC's) vary based on project needs, preference of the project team, environment and other factors. Even with all this there is only 27% success in software development. Why? The answer lies in maturing the delivery process that can accommodate any methodology or no methodology at all. By using CMMi or other maturity models, organizations can ensure that they ask the right questions and utilize the right metrics to ensure project success.
