Tri-State CIO Forum

Dear SIM Member:

On behalf of the Tri-State SIM chapter presidents, we would like to invite you to attend the Tri-State CIO Forum taking place May 7, 2008 at the Millennium Broadway Hotel near Times Square. This year we are pleased to announce a new and exciting partnership with InfoWorld and Computerworld to host the annual flagship CIO event in New York City.

After hosting the Tri-State CIO Executive summit for the past three years, we determined that this new partnership is more beneficial to our SIM members and their interests. Also, the new partnership enables us to build on the success we created with the previous events and offer additional benefits to our members, including:

  • Establishing an event format and agenda focused on the concerns of our members
  • Promotion of the SIM organization’s membership values and benefits
  • Attendee pre-qualification to all Tri-State SIM members

This is the only Tri-State SIM sponsored CIO event in New York City! Our local chapters are no longer associated with New York CIO Executive Summit, which is occurring later in May.

As CIOs and senior IT executives we are accustomed to dealing with constant change in our mission and expectations. Today, the business is looking towards its senior Information Technology leaders to provide strategic direction and innovation based initiatives that will simultaneously increase business efficiency and increase revenue generation.

As a result, we will delve into these discussions and look at some of the critical topics driving the IT strategy and innovation initiatives, including: Green IT, Social Networking, Globalization, Career Management, Attracting and Retaining Talent, Leadership, Business/IT Alignment, and in this economic climate: Innovating while reducing costs. As a SIM member, we would like to invite you to participate in this year’s program; we are confident that the presentations and networking opportunities will assist your endeavor to create an innovation strategy within your organization.

We appreciate your past support and we hope you will join us at this year’s Tri-State CIO Forum. To register, go to www.TriStateCIOForum.com and press the “Enroll Now” button.

Sincerely,

Tsvi Gal, President, SIM New York Metro

Michael Pellegrino, President, SIM Fairfield Westchester

Leif Maiorini, President, SIM New Jersey
