Welcome to the home page of the Detroit Chapter of the Society for Information Management. The Detroit Chapter of the Society for Information Management (SIM) is a by-invitation federation of senior IT Executives experienced in Information Technology and general management. Detroit Annual Program Survey

We would appreciate if you would take a few minutes (approximately 6-8) and complete this annual program online survey . Your feedback is important to our program team, and will be used to provide the best possible programs venues, formats, and content in 2008. The survey is open until November 25th. As an incentive for you to respond now, the first 50 respondents will be entered in a raffle for two iPod 8GB Nano prizes, so don’t delay! Thank you in advance for your feedback.

The Chapter strives to strengthen professional communications among members who direct the application of information technology in private and pubic organizations. Chapter activities include:

  • Meeting to share innovative ideas and real world experiences which address enterprise information needs. We have excellent speakers both from our membership, and bring in industry executives and subject matter experts from many sources.
  • Providing presentations by leading national information-management professionals and executives who benefit from management-information systems.
  • Challenging our comfort levels by exchanging ideas with peers and business counterparts.
  • Tours of member facilities to observe, first hand, excellent uses of Technology in the metro Detroit area
  • Being a resource for each other, and personal networking.
