Ken’s career spans more than 30 years in information systems and executive management during time which he was a Chief Information Officer for more than 15 years.  He is an Adjunct Professor at the Stevens Institute of Technology, Hoboken, NJ. 

Most recently, Ken was Vice President, Operations and CIO for Miro Consulting Inc. Prior to that he was chief information officer for Video Monitoring Services of America (VMS, LP).  VMS is the United State’s largest broadcast news and advertising monitoring service.  Before joining VMS, Ken held the title of VP, Information Systems at DRAGOCO Inc., an international creator of fragrances and flavors with offices and manufacturing facilities in 26 countries.  His practitioner career includes leading multi-million dollar domestic and international strategic systems and deployment efforts in enterprise resource planning (ERP), product R&D, order management, financials, knowledge management, content management and digital asset management.  Ken has worked for global and domestic companies where he has engineered organizational and information systems transformations, worked diligently to align business and IS, and re-engineered corporate business processes for marked improvements in customer satisfaction, productivity, reduced cycle times and significantly reduced operating costs.  During his career, he has lived and worked in Europe, Central America and Asia providing businesses with his insights and leadership.  He serves on the board of several organizations and companies.  Ken has an M.B.A. in Management from the Graduate School of Business Management, Rutgers University and a B.S. in Biochemistry from Rutgers University. 
For a number of years he has been on the executive board of the New Jersey Chapter of SIM and has held positions including president, executive vice president, treasurer, and vice president, marketing.  Ken is a founding member of the Chapter Presidents’ Board and he was a member SIM’s Finance Committee.  This year, Ken has served two years as VP for Chapter/Alliance Development. For the previous two years, he was SIM’s VP, Marketing and prior to that he served for two years as VP, Conferences and Seminars for the Society.
